The Contributors

This site is the result of the combined efforts of a number of dedicated researchers. My role has primarily been to bring their work together and make it available in an accessible, searchable and indexable format. The real work, however, lies in the research and cataloguing that produced the underlying data in the first place.

The main publication data is the work of Ian Nouwens, who kindly provided his comprehensive index of publications along with scans of various editions. I have added modern editions as they have been released, but the vast majority of the original research and cataloguing is Ian’s work.

Additional data has been drawn from Roger Harris’s excellent Biggles.info site. In particular, the story data has been compiled from his exhaustive catalogue of the 274 Biggles stories. Biggles.info is an extraordinary resource and an invaluable source of information about Biggles, his stories, and their author.
